I've been a bad blogger!!

I haven't blogged in a looonnnnnnngggggggggg time.. Joining Ravelry is one good reason. I can't seem to get enough of it. I've found so many patterns and idea's.
Another reason was Christmas Gift making. I made DH, Son and Daughter Fleece Robes for Christmas. I was planning on making the kids slippers and DH socks. Well, I got daughter's slipper finished(she almost four so they didn't take long to make, started son's slippers and started DH socks. Didn't get them finished in time. I'm still working on slippers. Didn't realize how big my 11yr old's feet were.

I can't wait to start some new projects in the New Year. I have so much I want to Crochet and Knit.

Once I get my new camera(Bad story don't want to post about it) I'll post some pictures...

Happy New Year's....

Candy Corn Dishcloth

I just finished the Illusion Candy Corn Dishcloth. I love it. It was such an easy knit. I started yesterday and got the yellow and orange done. Today I knit the white and it took about 1/2 hour. I think it took me about an hour and half to make. I plan on making more. It took alittle over an oz total in cotton. My kid thought it was cool looking.

Update

Haven't had time for a update lately.
Hubby reformated my computer... UHHH
I'm still trying to get everything back the way I like it...
And I don't think it runs any better than before he messed with it.

I'm sending WAY to much time on Ravelry.. My id is Betsy023.
I LOVE IT.. I have so many projects lined up...

Haven't work on my hemmie lately. I did finish a baby ghan for a friend and also working on a one piece kimono from Mason Dixon book. I'm borrowing it from the Library. I think I'm heading to Michael's tomorrow to use a 50% off coupon to get it.

I mailed on my first box to my secret pal 11. I've very nerves about it. I hope she likes evrything.I'm starting to work on the second box.

I'm also working on my Fall into Autumn swap. I should be starting her dishcloth tomorrow.

I should be getting my EcoWool tomorrow. There has been such a demand for it, that a lot of places have it backed ordered. I order yarn to make a hemmie for me and my SIL for Christmas...

I also placed an order with KnitPicks... I couldn't wait for Santa to bring me Options for Christmas. I can't wait to get them.

Well have to get the kiddo ready for bed so I have some knitting time.

Progress on my Hemlock Ring Blanket KAL

I was on round 68 and I notices the stitches didn't flow nice around the circulars. I was using size 9 32" circulars. I didn't want to wait to order or buy longer circulars. I was trying to think of what to do. I thought about using 2 circular needles but couldn't figure it out. Then a light bulb went off in my head. I have a set of Boyle changeable needles. I got my 2 longest cables and conneted them. Now I have room for all those stitches. I still have a few more shorter cables I can attach, if need.

Here is a picture of round 70. I'm on round 73 now. I order some Eco Wool yesterday. Can't wait for it to come.

Hemlock Ring Blanket KAL

I saw the doily link and thought I can't knit that. Then I saw Jared's blanket I knew I had to knit it. This is the biggest leap in my knitting. I've never knitted on DP's then to circulars. I messed up the center but I WASN'T frogging it. I'm on Round 47. I'm about to take another leap in my knitting. I'm going to try and knit from a Chart.

I'm making my blanket with Wool-Ease in Dark Rose Heather and size 9 needles. My circulars are only 32" long, so I can't get any good pictures of my progress now. But here are 2 from round 20ish... I might take a trip to a yarn shop and get longer circulars.
