SP11 Socks

I just finished one of the socks my SP 11 pal sent me.

I LOVE knitting socks. I don't know what I was so afraid of.

Here is a picture. I still need to finish the second one.

It shouldn't take to long. I only need to knit the foot and toe.

Thanks SP11 Pal...

SP 11 Oct Box

I have the best SP11 partner!!!

I got another wonderful package today.

A journal, 2 notepads, 2 Steeler pencils, Steeler lanyard, Steeler knitted socks(which I almost forgot to put in the picture, they were already on my feet), At Knits Ends by the Yarn Harlot, Knitted soap sack, Learn to knit socks book and info for the magic loop, size 3 DPN, Sock knitting bag, and a pair of sock in 2 different stages and methods. The first sock is on 12" needles and just need the toe knitted. The second sock is knitted in the magic loop and the cuff is done. I have to do the rest.

Thanks of all the wonderful things again.

You're the best!!!!

ISE 5 Scarf

This is the scarf I'm making for my ISE5 Pal.

It's made with Frog Tree Brushed Suri in red. I got the yarn at my LYS, The Yarn Stash, in Burien WA

The pattern I'm using is Angel Pearls Beaded Scarf by Sivia Harding Knit designs. I got the pattern last spring on a Yarn Hop in Portland OR.

This is my first attempt with lace knitting. I love how it is turning out. I hope my Pal likes it.

My First Socks

I'm finally learning to knit socks. I'm taking a class at my LYS, The Yarn Stash, I'm learing the magic loop method. It's so easy. I don't know why it took me so long to learn. I have my first sock knitted up to the heel flap. I'm starting my second sock. I'll proably take my second class on Thursday.
I'm using wool ease and size 5 needles. I love my KP Options!!!
