Birthday Cake

Tomorrow is my daughter's 4th birthday. I can't believe she is getting so big.

She is in love with Ruby & Max by Rosemary Wells. She loves the show and the books. So her request this year was a Ruby & Max Cake.

After a couple of back breaking hours I got it done. It turned out really cute.

She loves it!!!!!

Spiderman Ghan

I'm late as usual. I finished my nephew's Spiderman Rippleghan today.

Thanks to Ravelry, I found this ghan, mitten and a hat. I'm making the mittens and hat for Christmas 2008. I'm going to start the mittens this month. I belong to A Loose Knit Group, who's project this month is mittens or gloves. The object of this group is to help you get a head start on knitting your Christmas gifts or any gifts you need.

I've been a bad blogger!!

I haven't blogged in a looonnnnnnngggggggggg time.. Joining Ravelry is one good reason. I can't seem to get enough of it. I've found so many patterns and idea's.
Another reason was Christmas Gift making. I made DH, Son and Daughter Fleece Robes for Christmas. I was planning on making the kids slippers and DH socks. Well, I got daughter's slipper finished(she almost four so they didn't take long to make, started son's slippers and started DH socks. Didn't get them finished in time. I'm still working on slippers. Didn't realize how big my 11yr old's feet were.

I can't wait to start some new projects in the New Year. I have so much I want to Crochet and Knit.

Once I get my new camera(Bad story don't want to post about it) I'll post some pictures...

Happy New Year's....

I received my scarf last week from my pal Miah in Baltimore MD.
The Pattern is Luce from Berroco. It made with Merino Worsted Malabrigo in Velvet Grapes. I love the color and the yarn. This is the first time I've felt Malbrigo. My LYS is getting a shipment soon. I can't wait to get some and work with it.
Thanks Miah for a wonderful Scarf. Can't wait for the next exchange.
